TheCoatingStore is committed to delivering your orders economically, and safely as soon as possible after your order has been completed. Unlike common online articles, liquid paint products are more closely regulated under the Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) guidelines which results in greater efforts and costs involved with shipping these type materials. As a result of shipping regulations, we are not currently shipping regulated products by air which means we do not offer service to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or anywhere else outside the continental USA and parts of Canada where ground service is not available. This also means we do not offer an expedited service.
We’ve tried to simplify the shipping process as much as possible so our customers have a better understanding of what to expect as far as shipping costs are concerned before they go to complete checkout. To this end, we have adopted a flat rate shipping cost based on your order total. Many items ship free and all orders destined to the continental USA over $400 of eligible items (all liquid items are eligible at this time) ship for free. Non-Regulated dry goods such as pearl powders, flakes, and the like all ship for free to the continental USA. The chart below outlines the shipping cost based on order total.
All items must be paid for at the same time to ensure you receive total credit for your order total. You can track your order total by clicking on your shopping cart at any time. Shipping rates are subject to change without notice but we will keep this chart up to date as rates change. Shipping costs displayed in your shopping cart are current so no surprises after you have placed your order.
We work hard to ship items as quickly as possible. However, due to the nature of these items, processing and shipping time (the time it takes us to get your items packaged and turned over to UPS or Fedex) can vary between 1 and 3 business days depending on our order volume. This does not include your transit time which we define as the time Fedex or UPS has your package(s) until they are delivered. Transit times vary between 1 and 6 business days depending on your location. Typical order arrival times (the time between when you complete payment for your order and when you receive your items) are shown in the map below.

To ensure you get your package as quickly as possible always use the bill to address as the ship to address. Orders with ship to addresses that can not be confirmed or differ from the bill to address may be subject to additional scrutiny which will slow the shipping process. In some cases we may refuse to ship to any address other than the bill to address and cancel your order. We can not ship most items to PO Boxes, or APO/FPOs in addition to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or anywhere else outside the continental USA and parts of Canada where ground service is not available.
On shipment of your items an email is automatically sent listing tracking numbers and a link to track your order. Because it is an automated email some email servers will place the email in your spam or junk email folder thinking it is junk email. If you don’t receive your tracking info by email and it is not in your spam or junk mail folder please feel free to send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll provide your tracking details. Please note that USPS tracking is notoriously slow in updating and often will not show progress till after your order has arrived.
A vast majority of our customers prefer to have their packages left at that door in their absence during delivery. As a result, our standard shipping package does not require a signature to receive. If you feel your package may be in danger of theft please contact us at email@example.com as soon as your order is completed so we can add signature confirmation to your order. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
