This listing features a QUART of IA-1925 Polyurethane Activator.

This activator is compatible with products calling for Imron* 192S* when used at the same mixing ratio as called for with the Imron 192S*.  May also replace other activators.  Contact us to see if this may be a suitable replacement for your activator needs.

Most of California REQUIRES the use of LOW VOC automotive coatings. However, the following districts DO NOT require the use of LOW VOC coatings when applied in these districts; Amador County APCD, Calaveras County APCD, Great Basin Unified APCD, Lake County AQCD, Lassen County APCD, Mariposa County APCD, Mendocino County AQMD, Modoc County APCD, Monterey Bay APCD, North Coast Unified AQMD, Northern Sierra AQMD, Northern Sonoma County APCD, Siskiyou County APCD, Tuolumne County APCD

Our LOW VOC product is NOT required.

Connecticut

Our LOW VOC product is NOT required.

Delaware

Delaware REQUIRES LOW VOC automotive coatings. However, Delaware has an exception in section 11.1.2.2 stating “where the use or application of that coating or cleaning solvent is by a person who does not receive compensation for such use or application”. In other words, our understanding from the rule is that if you are paying a painter to paint your vehicle then have to use LOW VOC coatings but if you are not paying someone to paint your vehicle then you can use the standard non-LOW VOC materials.

Our LOW VOC product is NOT required.

Hawaii

Our LOW VOC product is NOT required.

Idaho

Our LOW VOC product is NOT required.

Illinois

Our LOW VOC product is NOT required.

Kentucky

LOW VOC automotive coatings are NOT required unless you are in Jefferson County and painting more than 1 vehicle a week or performing more than 5 spot/panel repairs per week in Jefferson county.

Louisiana

Our LOW VOC product is NOT required.

Maine

Our LOW VOC product is NOT required.

Maryland

Maryland REQUIRES LOW VOC automotive coatings. However, Maryland has an exception in section 2 of rule 26.11.19.23 stating “An automotive coating applied to motor vehicles or mobile equipment or their associated parts and components by a person who does not receive compensation for the application of the coating.” In other words, our understanding from the rule is that if you are paying a painter to paint your vehicle then they have to use LOW VOC coatings but if you are not paying someone to paint your vehicle then you can use the standard non-LOW VOC materials.
