I had a chemical reaction with my basecoat that ended up pulling the primer, sealer, and basecoat up from the plastic. i painted my entire truck using only there paints and this only happened on the parts that i used this adhesion promotor on. followed all directions and still ended up screwing up multiple pieces of my paintjob. i painted other pieces of the same material without this adhesion promoter without it pulling. they told me it was from a coating that was on the pieces before i painted. but one was brand new, 2 came from another vehicle and 2 where original. and all had the same issue. and all where scuffed before any paint was applied. wouldn’t recommend taking the chance.

This has nothing to do with the primer activator. That is a chemical reaction that sometimes happens with any brand of automotive paint and likely related to application and not the product. If it was some how defective Adhesion promoter as suggested it would have failed on the whole area that was primed with the adhesion promoter. Instead it only lifted a few small spots where a primer or base was likely applied to heavy with in-suffecient flash time.
