Our Screamin’ Series of pearls is based on the popular xirallic pearl powder that features durable, clean, high sparkle pearl colors and for high chroma exterior finishes.Available in 9 colors for varying preference.Screamin’xirallic pearls area much cleaner and brighter pearl than standard pearl powders. Best applied by combining with one of our intercoat clears (sold separately) but can also be added to your first 1-2 layers of clear topcoat or can also be added to candy colors or many standard basecoat colors to add a cool pearl effect. This is a great tool for custom paint enthusiasts to keep around their shop for adding custom effects.

How much Screamin’ Pearl Should I add?
The amount of Screamin’ Pearl to add depends on the effec you are trying to achieve. The amount of screamin’ pearl to use depends ont he effect you are trying to achieve and the color you are working with. For some colors as little as 1 teaspoon (1/3 table spoon) per quart can make a nice effect whereas other colors my take as much as 4 table spoons per quart to achieve a desired look. Always spray a test panel to check color and performance.
This product is a component and not specifically regulated by low VOC automotive coatings rules commonly found in California, Maryland and other low VOC regulated districts. Delaware REQUIRES LOW VOC automotive coatings. However, Delaware has an exception in section 11.1.2.2 stating “where the use or application of that coating or cleaning solvent is by a person who does not receive compensation for such use or application”. In other words, our understanding from the rule is that if you are paying a painter to paint your vehicle then have to use LOW VOC coatings but if you are not paying someone to paint your vehicle then you can use the standard non-LOW VOC materials.
