This kit contains one gallon of UC-44 low gloss clear in your choice of Flat, Matte, Satin or Semi-Gloss sheen and one quart of activator required to catalyze this clear.
This clear dries to a sleek low gloss clear sheen for a unique low gloss clear effect. Special blend of transparent pigments and additives improves mar resistance and toughness while flexible polymers prevent cracking, flaking, and reduces road rash from stone chips. Urethane chemistry and U.V. absorbers ensure long life.
Check your local regulations for compliance. This product is not compliant in regions requiring Low VOC automotive paints such as most of California, Maryland, Delaware, Rhode Island and potentially other regions as the Low VOC regulations spread across the country.

Delaware REQUIRES LOW VOC automotive coatings. However, Delaware has an exception in section 11.1.2.2 stating “where the use or application of that coating or cleaning solvent is by a person who does not receive compensation for such use or application”. In other words, our understanding from the rule is that if you are paying a painter to paint your vehicle then have to use LOW VOC coatings but if you are not paying someone to paint your vehicle then you can use the standard non-LOW VOC materials.

However, Maryland has an exception in section 2 of rule 26.11.19.23 stating “An automotive coating applied to motor vehicles or mobile equipment or their associated parts and components by a person who does not receive compensation for the application of the coating.” In other words, our understanding from the rule is that if you are paying a painter to paint your vehicle then they have to use LOW VOC coatings but if you are not paying someone to paint your vehicle then you can use the standard non-LOW VOC materials.

Any low gloss clear is going to have a tendency to streak or stripe if not applied evenly. For best results apply WET with 75% overlap.
