Use the color chart below to aid you in selecting your classic muscle color. Color chips shown are scans of original paint supplier's color charts which may vary from the actual paint and/or car color. Always spray a test panel to confirm the color before using on your vehicle. Sorry, we do not offer recent color charts or recent photos of spray outs for this era of colors (nor does any other paint supplier). This series of colors is intended for those who want to restore their vehicle to the original factory color as they may have rolled off the assembly line over 40 years ago.
**** The color chart shown below is a scan of an original color chart produced by PPG industries in the 60s. We do not make or offer for sale PPG products. However, our unique business model allows us to make paints that match and offer comparable coverage and durability as the PPG "DBC" or "Global" basecoat at prices often 1/3rd the price. PPG, Global, and all the mentioned trade names of the chart below are registered trademarks of Pittsburg Plate Glass, Inc. ****

Frequently Asked Questions
How much paint do I need?
The amount of paint you will need depends on a lot of factors including the size of the vehicle you are painting, how much of the vehicle you are painting, which color you use, your spray equipment, and the technique and skill of your painter. Generally speaking a gallon kit of paint is enough for the outside and jambs of a small to medium sized vehicle. Larger vehicles or if you are painting more than the outside and jambs will require more paint. Quart kits are generally enough paint for motorcycles and golf carts. However, if you have a large motorcycle or golf cart with a lot of pieces you might need an additional quart kit.
Which clear should I use?
We highly recommend the UC-210 UreChem HS Glamour clear. The UC-210 has been proven to offer more UV protection than most clears on the market, extending the life of your paint.
Which activator and reducer should I use?
The activator and reducer to select depends on the size of the vehicle or parts you are painting, the temperature, and your air movement. Generally speaking, when painting 30% or more of a car's surface area at once, you'll want medium or "standard" reducer and activator. Also, standard reducer and activator are recommended when vehicle surface temperatures are below 85F. For vehicle surface temperatures above 85F, "slow" is the better choice. Finally, "fast" is only recommended for smaller painting areas while also working in cooler temps.
How good is your product?

Does this product meet local VOC requirements?
