Description
Featured in this listing is a 25 gram bottle of the KonFusion Chameleon Powder for your choice (10 to choose from). This is the pure chameleon powder used to make our cool KonFusion chameleon paints. This is a perfect solution for customers wanting the blend their own chameleon color or use to create unique chameleon effects using products like tintable bed liners or color changing plasti-dip. One 25 gram bottle makes a quart of full strength chameleon color when mixed with binder such as our intercoat clear. Can also be mixed with 2K topcoat clear but color change and evenness of spray is better when mixed with intercoat clear.
To make a true chameleon finish a 3 stage paint process is required where a dark colored base (usually black) is applied then the transparent chameleon layer containing your chameleon pearl, and finally a clear topcoat for gloss and protection. For best value purchase one of our chameleon kits where you can get your black base, chameleon (pre-mixed and stabilized = no messy powder to add), and clear for unbeatable prices. Buying the kit will save you time, money, and hassle as opposed to buying the powder and then buying the components separately. To see our kit options click on the icon below.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much paint do I need?
The amount of paint you will need depends on a lot of factors including the size of the vehicle you are painting, how much of the vehicle you are painting, which color you use, your spray equipment, and the technique and skill of your painter. Generally speaking a gallon kit of paint is enough for the outside and jambs of a small to medium sized vehicle. Larger vehicles or if you are painting more than the outside and jambs will require more paint. Quart kits are generally enough paint for motorcycles and golf carts. However, if you have a large motorcycle or golf cart with a lot of pieces you might need an additional quart kit.
Which clear should I use?
We highly recommend the UC-210 UreChem HS Glamour clear. The UC-210 has been proven to offer more UV protection than most clears on the market, extending the life of your paint.
Which activator and reducer should I use?
The activator and reducer to select depends on the size of the vehicle or parts you are painting, the temperature, and your air movement. Generally speaking, when painting 30% or more of a car's surface area at once, you'll want medium or "standard" reducer and activator. Also, standard reducer and activator are recommended when vehicle surface temperatures are below 85F. For vehicle surface temperatures above 85F, "slow" is the better choice. Finally, "fast" is only recommended for smaller painting areas while also working in cooler temps.
