This listing features a half pint (8 ounces) of UreChem’s ChemChrome Auto Paint basecoats. Use the drop down menu to select between the standard reflective chrome paint, the darker smoked chrome paint, the light and bright chrome paint, or the bright but non-mirror reflective Aluminum effect. Other sizes available in separate listings.

Chemhrome chrome paint is based on the the latest in ultra-thin lamellar metal flakes that when used properly will orient in a way allowing a mirror like reflection simulating the look of chrome. To obtain the reflective effect ChemChrome chrome paint must be applied over cured glossy 2K clear such as UreChem UC-410 or UreChem UC-210. ChemChrome Chrome Paint requires clear for exterior use.  For interior use that is located in an area where the finish is touched, cleaned regularly, or abraded the clear is not required.

ChemChrome Chrome Paint is great for custom automotive looks when used alone or as a base for unique kandy finishes. Wheel refurbishers and refinishers are also finding ChemChrome Chrome Paint useful in their business services.

If you are looking for chrome auto paint with comparable performance to products like MirraChrome, kosmic chrome, ghost chrome, krome paint, real chrome paint, or just paint that looks like chrome then you’ve come to the right place!

The amount of paint depends on a lot of factors but generally a couple of half pints is enough for abike.

Which chrome effect should I use?

Your color choice is really a personal preference. KK-01, and KK-03 are the most mirror reflective of thegroup with KK-03 being the lightest and strongest. KK-02 is a darker version for more a “smoked chrome” look.
