Featured in this listing is a gallon of UC-421 LOW VOC 2K Urethane Clear and a quart of the activator speed of your choice.
This clear features low color, excellent flow and leveling, high gloss, productive dry times, and a high depth of image finish that lasts. Choose activator speed based on the size of the part to be painted and the temperature. A quart kit is offered in a separate listing. Product can be easily polished as needed for indefinitely. Mixes 4:1 by volume. Apply 3-4 wet coats for a deep shine.
This clear has been formulated for regulations that require 250 g/L (2.1 lbs/gallon) ready for us. As of February 2022, this meets all VOC requirements currently in place in North America but regulations evolve so we encourage you to check your local VOC regulations to ensure compliance.

Delaware REQUIRES LOW VOC automotive coatings. However, Delaware has an exception in section 11.1.2.2 stating “where the use or application of that coating or cleaning solvent is by a person who does not receive compensation for such use or application”. In other words, our understanding from the rule is that if you are paying a painter to paint your vehicle then have to use LOW VOC coatings but if you are not paying someone to paint your vehicle then you can use the standard non-LOW VOC materials.

Maryland REQUIRES LOW VOC automotive coatings. However, Maryland has an exception in section 2 of rule 26.11.19.23 stating “An automotive coating applied to motor vehicles or mobile equipment or their associated parts and components by a person who does not receive compensation for the application of the coating.” In other words, our understanding from the rule is that if you are paying a painter to paint your vehicle then they have to use LOW VOC coatings but if you are not paying someone to paint your vehicle then you can use the standard non-LOW VOC materials.
